Khelo India Scheme 2017- 18
- A new scheme Khelo India Scheme was announced and has been approved by the UNION Cabinet under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
- This programmer is for the period of 2017-18 to 2019-20.
- By this scheme, identifying and encouraging every individual young spoorting talent and so individual development will possible and it enhances community developement, and national development.
- ("Sports for All" as well as "Sports for Excellence")
- Under this scheme, about 20 million children of age group of 18-20 yrs will be included in the physical fitness Campaign.
- And, i can say this program would influence the entire sports ecosystem, including infrastructure, community sports, talent identification, coaching for excellence competition structure and engage youth living in the deprived area in sporting activities.
